Concrete driveways, steps & sidewalks in Queens
Queens is a driveway borough. Between shared driveways, front steps, patios and tree-lined sidewalks, it’s where we pour a lot of concrete.
Attached and semi-attached homes in Middle Village, Maspeth, Glendale and Ozone Park often have shared driveways and rear garages, while eastern Queens has full-length private driveways. Cracked, sunken or heaved slabs usually come from a weak base or poor drainage, so we remove the old slab, fix the base and pitch the new concrete to drain.
Queens sidewalks see a lot of tree-root damage and DOT notices. For eligible one- to three-family homes, NYC Parks’ Trees & Sidewalks Program may repair damage caused by City trees; otherwise we replace the flags listed on your notice.

Concrete questions in Queens
Can you replace half of a shared driveway?
It can be done, but it usually works better when both owners agree on one scope and schedule. We can price both options.
Can you add a new curb cut?
New curb cuts require City approvals and aren’t always allowed. We focus on replacing existing driveways and will tell you what a new cut would involve.
Do you repair front steps on attached homes?
Yes: concrete and brick steps, landings and cheek walls.
